Reservoir Geophysical Corporation is a Texas based corporation formed in 1992 and operated continuously since that date. The company engages in the business of 3D and 2D seismic data processing and lithologic characterization.

Data processing services are equipped with recent and powerful seismic processing software running on clustered Intel super computers. The experienced staff specializes in working directly and interactively with the technical staff of our clients. The main office and data processing center of the company is in Sugar Land, Texas, a suburb of Houston.

Data processing services are complete as required from newly acquired field data format and archived formats as input to complete seismic data processing analyses and sequences. Quality control in the preprocessing phase receives careful attention to assure accurate geometry, refraction and residual static corrections, velocity field derivations and noise elimination. Preparation for Kirchhoff Turning Curved Ray Time Migration includes review and testing of the migration velocity field prior to the migration runs. Kirchhoff Depth Migration with tomographic model building is also available.

Advanced data processing services include well log correlation for phase calibration / verification, waveform inversion and AVO attribute calculation. The latest in AVO technology is available including 3-term Aki-Richards calculations and Full Elastic Impedance / Prestack Simultaneous Inversion including Lamda / Mu Ro transforms. Numerous Spectral Decomposition algorithms are available for bed thickness analysis, resolution enhancement and energy absorption. Structural attributes including Eigen Structure Coherence Cube Technology and Volume Curvature are also available.

Reservoir OBC LLC

Reservoir OBC LLC is a Texas based corporation formed in 2007 for the purpose of mobilizing and operating a new, high technology Dual Sensor/4C OBC data acquisition crew on the shelf in the Gulf Of Mexico. Mobilization and equipment procurement is proceeding. The new OBC crew is planned for initial Sea Trials and operations in May 2008. The dock and maintenance facility for the OBC crew is at Amelia, Louisiana.
